Service Limits & Fair Use

All uploads and remote image fetches are validated by file signature (magic bytes) and restricted to raster formats (JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP) up to 10 MB, 40 megapixels, and 12,000 pixels maximum single-dimension (Source: security.php — INSTAIMGR_MAX_BYTES, INSTAIMGR_MAX_PIXELS, INSTAIMGR_MAX_DIMENSION).

Per-IP sliding-window rate limits (60 uncached transforms/min, 20 remote fetches/min, 15 uploads/min; Source: img.php, index.php, security.php) and 30-day file cache/upload retention (Source: cron_cleanup.php) apply to maintain service stability.
